Your child will be bringing home two folders each week. One is a daily homework folder that will travel back forth between home and school each night. In this folder, students will keep their homework, and bring home corrected homework and classwork. This is also where you should put daily notices for me or the office.
The second folder is a weekly “backpack” folder. In this folder, your child will be bringing home school notices, classroom notices and work from the week. One side of the folder will be dedicated to school notices, and the other to my notices and class work. This folder will go home every Friday, and come back every Monday. Tucked in the back of the folder will be a parent reflection sheet. I ask that each weekend, you initial this sheet, and write any questions or comments that you have about your child’s school work.
